April 2024 - What Size is Your Measuring Cup?

"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38 As a lover of gift giving (and receiving:) this is one promise I'm excited to challenge. 

1. Break it down: It's simple... what you give will be returned to you above and beyond what you gave.

2. Doing your part: Start giving. There are so many ways to give: time, money, words, touch, gifts, a helping hand, etc. Make a goal: once a week, once a day... it doesn't need to be big it just needs to be given from the heart. 

3. Reap the rewards: Watch as God supplies your every need. Like the widow who gave her two mites, give what you have and He will bless you richly. And remember God blessed the widow over the Pharisees because He doesn't see what you give, but what you keep. So give, and He will reward you.
