December 2025 - My Favorite Things

Relationships grown. A friend married.

Five nephews, and six nieces. Family upon family seen. 

A new cousin-in-law, and new brother-in-law to be.

Two successful seasons of H&H.

Three hundred and forty-one workouts. A soccer championship.

A self-defense class taken. Four new habits built.

Three trips out of town, and three state parks visited.

First Yankees game and first NASCAR race. 

Another year of violin, my first offertory.

Missionaries met. Sister graduated. 

Family camp. Teen camp. Decisions made. 

Gifts for our officers, made and given.

Matthew's buck; Christopher's too.

Hours of hunting. Hours of soccer.

Babysitting, more babysitting, and more babysitting!

A new job, and old ones too.

 

When there's hard times, when I want to quit. 

When I'm feeling down. 

I simply remember my favorite things. 

And then I don't feel so bad.
