April Monthly - Spring Forward

Moving on from chapter 3 to chapter 4. Hopefully, after being mindful of what you said over the past month, you will continue forward with a better filter. Building up, rather than tearing down.

Heading into April, I would like to take a hint from the weather and take a turn for the better. This months inspiration comes from my youth pastor as he decided to make April 1st his New Years day for this year.

I don't know about you, but by April I tend to forget the goals that I had set at the beginning of the year. So April, and its time of new growth, seems like the perfect time to look over old goals, adjust, and start fresh. I tend to start new goals and have them written in many random places, so my personal plan is to collect all of my goals into one place and review them. Once I know what I want to do going forward I will set my new goals, then find an accountability partner who will help me to stick to them.

It may be a different situation for you. Maybe you didn't set any goals at the beginning of the year. Maybe you don't like the goals you have. Or maybe you just don't know what goals you want to set. Wherever you are, my goal for you this month is to reassess your life and set the goals that you want to succeed with going forward. Proverbs 27:23 says, "Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds." Instead of wandering aimlessly, diligently pursue the book you want to write with your life. Like Erma Bombeck, let us seek to say, "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'."💕
