February Monthly - Less Screen Time: More Life Time

The first chapter of your book is complete. Do you like it so far? Maybe you would like to switch the direction? Whether you are happy with it or wish to change it, now is the time to choose.

With the month of February upon us, and the second month of college for me, our next challenge is due. This month I thought I'd go in the direction of the screens we always have in front of us. I had a challenge in one of my classes to take a half hour before bed, turn off all screens, and do a nightly wind down; so I thought I would do it with you, and together we would do better. Did you know that your brain processes what you learn in your sleep and cements it into your brain? If you memorize right before you go to bed, when you wake up, more than likely you will be able to quote it perfectly.  Maybe you would like to have more time to get ready for bed; maybe you would like more time to study or read; maybe you want to spend more time in God's Word. Whatever it is you would like to do, set a routine and stick to it for the rest of the month. Remember, what you do right before bed will make a big impact in your thinking process, and what you think is what you are: "As he thinketh in his heart, so is he..." - Pro.23:7a.

With college, my routine will most likely look a little different than those of you who stay-at-home. But whatever you decide, make sure it brings your life one step closer to the book that you want to create.
